Copy and paste people outlines

A new feature I work on with the third grade is the ability to use the grabber hand to copy and paste. I have them start by opening an idea machine image I've created called CopyPaste. We talk about the computer's ability to copy and paste in many different programs. I demonstrate using the fourth icon on the line of the square and draw a rectangle around the little person outline. Then I show how to click on the two smiley faces to copy the image. It looks like nothing happened. Then I click on the glue bottle to paste the copied image. It has to be dragged from the center. Each copy will lay one on top of the next.

When they are finished they decorate the image any way they like: paint bucket, pencil, paintbrush, stampers. The Cutouts stamp set has nice images of eyes, noses, mouths, and ears.
